NBA Wrap: Warriors sweep Blazers, head to finals
The Golden State Warriors have swept the Portland Trail Blazers 4-0 in their Western Conference finals matchup and are headed to the NBA Finals for the fifth consecutive season.
The Warriors won Game 4 119-117 on the back of Stephen Curry’s 37-point, 13-rebound, 11-assist triple-double, Draymond Green also had a triple-double with 18 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists, Klay Thompson had 17 points and six rebounds while Kevon Looney finished with a 12-point, 14-rebound double-double.
Meyers Leonard led the Blazers with a 30-point, 12-rebound double-double, Damian Lillard also had a double-double with 28 points and 12 assists, CJ McCollum had 26 points and seven assists, while Zach Collins ended the game with 10 points.
With Golden State advancing to the finals, they now await the outcome of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors who will play their Game 4 on Toronto on Wednesday morning.
