Is this Warriors dynasty the greatest?

Draymond Green is truly embracing this exciting moment in his career. Green is in the process of challenging for his fourth championship and it’s been remarkable for the city of Oakland to watch the Warriors embark on this dynasty filled journey.

Green understands that this marvelous run won’t last forever so embracing this chapter and cherishing it is important while it lasts. There is a lot of speculation in the air about who is returning to the team after this season and they are willing to deal with the ramifications that come afterwards, but nonetheless, Golden State is focused on winning the 2019 NBA Championship.

When asked about this great time in his career, Green says, “It’s a special time. It’s one that you really try to relish. We know these runs don’t last forever and obviously there are so many questions and things with this team that can possibly happen this summer. So, we want to take advantage of this opportunity and make the most of it and deal with things that come after, whenever they arrive but right now we’re focused on the task at hand and try to do something that hasn’t been done in a long time, and not many times.”

The Warriors are setting a great example of where hard work and dedication can take you. A Dynasty! Although there has been a five-year run with this team, taking over the Western Conference and winning championships, two-time MVP Stephen Curry views things differently. Curry does not let those things dominate his thoughts while him and his teammates are playing basketball games. Keeping their focus on the ultimate goal has been the strategy to success and they continue to prove that it works. Although they know what’s at stake, they do not focus on all the hype. When you get caught up in the glitz and glamour, you slowly fall to the bottom. Curry just wants to win.

“These are big moments, big games. The context of what this five-year run has been and all that stuff doesn’t really dominate my mind while we’re out there competing. We know what’s at stake and what we chasing this year, this series, this game. That’s the only way you can put your best foot forward in terms of trying to get back to the mountain top,” said Curry as his Warriors team completed their clean sweep of the Portland Trail Blazers in Oregon.

“We’ll have plenty of time to really go back and think about the different experiences and highs and lows,” opined Curry who is more than focused on the task at had. The Golden State Warriors are making history right now and will go down as one of the best teams to ever have graced the NBA. They’ve made it to another NBA Finals, their fifth appearance in a row.
